Michael Kors Spring Summer 2014

Location: Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center

For my last menswear show of the season I closed it with one of the best! Michael Kors may have only shown for looks for men this season, but those four offered options for any Hamptons getaway. Large lapes were evident circa Gatsby era and the belts were draped oh so casually. Making the suiting options take a reminiscent age of less structure and more flow throughout the clothing.

J.Crew Spring Summer 2014

Location: Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center

Woah, just WOAH! This collection had me at an aw instantly, and well made me spend my entire summer wearing each look on Fire Island. The subtle placed boardwalk gave a feeling that was appropriate for any beachside trip. The looks offered florals, snapbacks, suiting, varsity jackets, unique camo, and shoes that I am dying to own. A variation of must have staple pieces for the tailored man.

Lacoste Spring Summer 2014

Location: Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center

This morning was a rough start getting to the tents, so once again here is another almost photo fail. I literally just made it to the tents just as the show was about to start and unfortunately wasn’t able to take my seat, though the perks of being media with IMG allows side of pit access (which has actually been somewhat better for shooting). Back to the clothing though, the best way to describe Lacoste’s collection was a futuristic meets minimalistic with a monochromatic underlining. Though ultimately their graphic sweater and transparent coat were my favorite pieces, and wouldn’t mind a semi pajama suit either. All perfect for a clean look next spring.

Todd Snyder Spring Summer 2014

Location: Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center

Taking a break from the runway and enjoying what is one of the best presentations during MBFW. Todd had an eclectic mix of plaid situations while pairing them what looked like lush sude jackets that draped perfectly over the models shoulders (and well would’ve looked just as great on me). The next favorite selection were the sick selection of sunglasses and combination of short suits that I’m sad I haven’t rocked yet. I’m taking the hint and will be incorporating this styling piece into my spring wardrobe soon!

Nautica Spring Summer 2014

Location: Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center

On day 2 I started my day with Nautica for their Black Sail collection. Simply putting it out there that their model selection was the best I have seen by far (and that is not only becuase half of them were shirtless). Ever since I saw their first presentation, their models have always been on point. Which is a perfect combinataion that goes with their completely wearable clothing. From their comfortable nits that have me dreaming of chilly beachside strolls, to cute blue water color printed short shorts that I approve of (obviously since they’re creeping high on the thigh). These looks then leaded into their completely chic collection of fashion sweats, multi fabric jackets that are begging for a cool spring day. While of course including subtle pops of their statement yellow and few additions of sweet reflector sunglasses. All of which I will be looking forward to seeing in store next season.
